Boston offers historic roots combined with a modern city. Many New England and Canada cruises depart from Boston or include it as a port of call on their itineraries. As far as shore excursions, for those that like to do things on their own, many cruise lines include a free shuttle to Faneuil Hall Marketplace, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city.
Another way to spend the day, is to follow the Freedom Trail, a 2.5 mile that takes in much of Boston’s history. The trail begins at Faneuil Hall and goes to Boston Common, America’s oldest park.
Other popular attractions in Boston include Newbury Street, Copley Square, the New England Aquarium or the Boston Duck Tours. The duck tours combine the best of Boston with a cruise along the Charles river for breathtaking views of Boston and Cambridge.
If you prefer to spend several days in Boston, rather than a cruise, Monograms offers a 4 day package of Boston that includes a Go Boston Card for free admission to over 70 attractions. You can access last minute hotel deals on our web site, or consider a self-driving or escorted tour also that includes Boston in the itinerary.

Burt Wolf to travel on a series of 10 river cruises with Avalon Waterways to raise money for PBS. All itineraries include special events and lectures conducted personally by Burt throughout the cruise such as wine tastings, introduction to architecture and classes on pairing food and wine.
Burt Wolf, the host of the public television series Travels & Traditions, invites you to join him on one of these Avalon Waterways’ river cruises.
A message from Burt Wolf:
Dear Members of Ensemble Travel Group,
I would like to personally invite your valued clients to join me as we navigate the rivers of Europe in a series of 10 cruises aboard Avalon Waterways. Together we will visit my favorite places, have a beer or a glass of wine with friends who own unusual pubs and famous vineyards, taste the regional delicacies, and generally "hangout" with my pals.
Ensemble Travel Group has been given an exclusive opportunity to sell these outstanding European programs. This is a unique chance for your clients to travel with me, see the sights, and experience the places where my television shows were filmed.
And the best part: A significant donation will be made to help support your client's local Public Broadcasting Station.
